Program Timeline

Onboarding:

During the first days our coordinators provided training, contextualization and first master classes with Professionals from Amherst College, UMass and private consultancy firms.

University of Columbia:

We had a Master Class at The Institute for Latin American studies. About the Root causes of immigration and qualitative data.

Fellowship kickstarting:

During the Boston Tech Jam, exchanged expectations and planned an agenda of activities. Explored a few organizations and I found an old contact, David Delmar from Resilient Coders. On the next day I interviewed Prf. Jean-Luc Pierite MLK visiting scholar for MIT

Interviews and meetings:

 The most valuable asset were the conversations with members of different organizations in Massachusetts. Running a total of 16 interviews from different people around the Tech Foundry and shared organizations.

Consolidation:

Data sources, research papers, statistics, one page project resumes, pitch proposals, material in advance for interviews, slide decks and presentations.

Congress:

For the final week of the internship, we will be traveling to Washington D.C. for the PFP Congress, final presentations, and visits to the State Deparment.
